Staff-Sgt. Halel Solomon HYD
Brave, Humble and Caring
A fighter in the Tsabar Battalion, Givati Brigade, fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip on October 31, 2024.
20 years old at the time of the fall.
Staff-Sergeant Halel Solomon, from the southern Israeli town of Dimona, was killed when his Namer armoured personnel carrier was hit by an anti-tank guided missile fired by Hamas.
The Indian community expressed huge sorrow at his passing away and at the loss of lives of other young Israelis "fighting a just war for Israel's existence."
Halel was a devoted son and had respect for his parents always in his eyes. Possessing immense good qualities he believed in endless giving, modesty, and humility.
A Gifted Karate Fighter
First Sergeant Hillel Solomon, who fell in the Givati Tiger disaster, did not have time to receive the black belt in karate that he had strived to achieve since the age of 6.
Hillel's mother received the blackbelt in his place.
The Halel Solomon Project
Solomon Family Project - In His Memory
Hillel was a man of peace, respected and loved everyone, wherever they were, and was always the first to lend a helping hand and a supportive shoulder when needed. He knew how to recognize people even without words and touch each one in his own unique way. He was a humble, humble and brave boy, full of joy and optimism, always with a big smile on his face and spreading his light wherever he was.
Hillel loved the Torah with pure love, and now, we want to fulfill the commandment of writing a Torah scroll to elevate the soul of our hero and continue to perpetuate and spread his light.
We invite you to help us in this effort.
